They were dark green DM boots.
I used to own a pair as a child but couldn't wear them much because school wouldn't let me and then I outgrew them.

I don't know about you but I only have work clothes and casual clothes and nothing in between. And although the dress code here is pretty lax I'd rather dress smart so that said clothes get an airing at all
