Bit mediocre.
My brain hasn't been in gear.

Im still at work and want to be not.

Why so vituperative?

(, Mon 14 Apr 2014, 18:03, Reply)
yer, but it's whisky and records which your plebeian 'tastes' just wouldn't appreciate.
Those of us of a less pedestrian disposition aren't so easily bored.
(, Mon 14 Apr 2014, 18:05, Reply)
You're bored all the time, that's why you post your "alright" threads on here pet.
You're bored now.
(, Mon 14 Apr 2014, 18:08, Reply)
I think the Pynchonesque narrative playfulness of my 'alright' threads is lost on you, 'pet'.

(, Mon 14 Apr 2014, 18:12, Reply)
Any mong could see that they are repetitive, trite and rubbish.
Your extended use of vocabulary fools nobody.

alright?
(, Mon 14 Apr 2014, 18:14, Reply)

You'll be eating deep fried Mars Bar and shitting out skag in no time.

(, Mon 14 Apr 2014, 18:26, Reply)
As a fellow lover of Pynchon
Could you extrapolate, perhaps...
(, Mon 14 Apr 2014, 18:15, Reply)
If you have to question it then you clearly don't understand the subtleties of what's going on.

(, Mon 14 Apr 2014, 18:16, Reply)
There are complexities within his work
But rarely simplifications.

If you want to push the boundaries, "alright" might pass as post-modern Sterne.
(, Mon 14 Apr 2014, 18:21, Reply)
yer I was thinking more De Lillo, what with repetition being a recurrent motif of his

(, Mon 14 Apr 2014, 18:26, Reply)
Would you say so?
I wouldn't.

I'm going let you wriggle out here - were you just thinking of Phillip Roth all along?
(, Mon 14 Apr 2014, 18:30, Reply)
I'm fucking about.

(, Mon 14 Apr 2014, 18:32, Reply)
Do you think Meatsnake slipped up on his Pynchon reference below, or do you think he meant Ishiguru?

(, Mon 14 Apr 2014, 18:36, Reply)
I think it was a reference to Ishigoru.

(, Mon 14 Apr 2014, 18:37, Reply)
dunno how he'd fit in a reference to crying or Lot 49 though.

(, Mon 14 Apr 2014, 18:38, Reply)
Philately will get you nowhere.

(, Mon 14 Apr 2014, 18:41, Reply)

Stunning gaff in Nidderdale this morning. Beautiful morning to drive up there, only spoiled by the desecration of Menwith Hill by the enemy within. Mornings like this I know I could never be desk bound again.

Then been sitting outside the boozer with the hounds trying to get overdue invoices paid. Afternoons like this I could do with a regular payslip.
