Who will you be voting for Al?

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:06, Reply)
don't make him say labour

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:09, Reply)
I shall be backing Nick Clegg, he's a trustworthy chap and knows what he's talking about.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:10, Reply)
I'm voting labour.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:11, Reply)
I almost certainly will be doing this too. Except in the unlikely scenario of them doign something ridiculous between now and the election.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:13, Reply)
yep
the economy is just about recovering, let's go back to spending a shitload of money that we don't have, eh? that'll be great.

well yeah
if i lived in coventry, i'd be desperate to spend other people's money too.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:17, Reply)
I honestly don't get it, in real life you seem like a nice person, clendrix likes you, and PJM used to boff you
so how can you suddenly act like such a vile, selfish cunt when you get near a ballot box?
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:18, Reply)
meh, let them starve
might free up a few seats on the tube
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:20, Reply)
You wouldn't - the way they spend other people's money round here is fucking stupid.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:19, Reply)
i was out with a surveyor from coventry last night
what a silly accent
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:22, Reply)
It varies across the city, but yeah, it's a bit odd
I don't sound like that, of course.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:24, Reply)
HAHAHA

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:17, Reply)
Excellent search results.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:21, Reply)
Seriously, how is it recovering? You have people actually starving and being forced to rely on food parcels provided by food banks
wages are significantly down on five years ago, and government borrowing has exceeded every single target, except the for quick one he set himself two months ago, and that was some 60 billion higher than the original one.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:17, Reply)
so what would you do? borrow more to top up benefits again?
then what?
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:18, Reply)
We're already borrowing more, you big silly.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:18, Reply)
shush i like getting al all shouty and it's been ages

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:18, Reply)
Yeah get it out your system so I don't get bored with it tonight, cheers.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:20, Reply)
one of teh gays is a rabid tory
his boyfriend works for a labour MP. so i try to avoid politics with them...
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:21, Reply)
I'm going home.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:22, Reply)
Yeah but you can't just stop it can you, the debt racked up by labour attracts interest that forces up borrowing again
adverse international economic winds have retarded growth preventing early pay off. The economy is not where they promised, but it is on the right track and needs time. Not profligate labour fuck its buying votes with borrowing
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:24, Reply)
the tories suck donkey balls
but they are still better than labour.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:25, Reply)
I don't really know anyone who has been effected by the recession so it can'tr be that bad

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:26, Reply)

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:32, Reply)
Well I'm fine
my wages have gone up, so everything seems to be going well
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:19, Reply)
Whatever else happens, the next party will likely put interest rates up, I reckon.
Somebody's got to do it at some point and then we'll see how well this economy's recovering.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:20, Reply)
Politicians don't decide the interest rate any more

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:21, Reply)
/out of touch

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:22, Reply)
I think the interest rates will be pushed up half a percent, and the economy will tank again.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:23, Reply)
not directly
but their policies do. unemployment has just dipped underneath the magical 7%, so...
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:23, Reply)
but whaaaaaaaaa those jobs are part time whaaaaaaaaa those jobs are zero hour contracts whaaaaaaaa those jobs don't pay enough whaaaaaaaa

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:25, Reply)
which is just kicking the can down the road
lower tax receipts = more borrowing = higher taxes and pension costs for your children.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:29, Reply)
but who cares about that when you can buy votes NOW by promising to spend

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:39, Reply)
So... the governer of the Bank of England quickly reneged on *his* policy

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:26, Reply)
his policy was that rates would not rise until unemployment dropped below 7%
not that rates WOULD rise when unemployment dropped below 7%
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:28, Reply)
this won't surprise anyone
hopefully someone will cut your hands off before the next election, so that you can't make your mark on the ballot paper.
(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:13, Reply)
It didn't surprise me, because he said it yesterday and I didn't care then either.

(, Thu 24 Apr 2014, 14:14, Reply)
