Lunch is currently pitta bread. I need to get something else, I think
(, Tue 9 Sep 2014, 11:59, Reply)
Why are your eyebrows raised at the report? Why do you think it is belated?

(, Tue 9 Sep 2014, 12:02, Reply)
Because it crashed months ago, they were late letting people go on site to make the report and because cover ups.

(, Tue 9 Sep 2014, 12:09, Reply)
ok

(, Tue 9 Sep 2014, 12:11, Reply)
YEAH! and the CIA did 911

(, Tue 9 Sep 2014, 12:13, Reply)
I was going to suggest that an air crash investigation might consist of a high amount of data and physical evidence that all needs careful and thorough analysis which would take a long time and manpower
Which even though there were obstructions and delays in getting to the crash site would not have made much of a difference time-wise, but I realised I couldn't be bothered and OMG RUSSIANS DUN IT a couple of days after would have sufficed as far as Jaysum is concerned.
(, Tue 9 Sep 2014, 12:18, Reply)
Well I was against the Russians as is but i didn't once give them the finger.

(, Tue 9 Sep 2014, 12:22, Reply)

Bit early for supper. Friend.
No, I'm in the pub on my second pint of cider, looking over some restructuring work for a friend, having spent the morning at an exclusive and very expensive soft play with micro. Phwooarrr MILFs!
Then I shall sleep on the sofa through the late afternoon/early evening, after which I shall open a bottle (or two) of Malbec and THEN I will consider cooking a whole leg of lamb, mange tout and a raspberry jus.

(, Tue 9 Sep 2014, 12:22, Reply)
Belated? It only happened a couple of months ago.
Then there was the matter of getting to the site, which was in the middle of a war zone and then investigations take time. Then, some poor work experience kid has to type it all up and get it spell checked, then get angry because Word's formatted it all to American spelling and then it's got to go to the printer's, who'll take forever to get it sorted out because "we've just had a big job come in, all high weight, full colour posters, boss. It'll be at least a week, though we could rush it if you bung us a freebie".

I have raised my eyebrow today at learning we have one team that transfers files TO the database server
but to transfer files FROM the database server is the responsibility of a different team.

I was not, perhaps, as surprised as someone unfamiliar with our "organisation" might have been.

Alt: I made a Shooter's Sandwich yesterday so I have a large slice of that for lunch and will be grabbing a salad to go with it.

altalt: I have one, I'm quite fond of it, see no need for anyone else's.

I ent got any downloaded music from Apple but I used iTunes to rip the CDs
I just copy them onto my phone
(, Tue 9 Sep 2014, 13:26, Reply)
You're complaining about something you're doing voluntarily.
You don't need to use iTunes, nobody's forcing you into it.
(, Tue 9 Sep 2014, 13:30, Reply)
I know, but I haven't found a decent application that I prefer
that will talk to both my iPad and my Galaxy, and still play on my Windows PC.

First world problems, innit?
(, Tue 9 Sep 2014, 13:38, Reply)
What do you need an extra app for? Just use media player

(, Tue 9 Sep 2014, 13:44, Reply)
I've never got on with that,
and it doesn't seem to like the iPad.

I suppose I could use the two systems at the same time, but it seems like a faff.
(, Tue 9 Sep 2014, 13:53, Reply)
More of a faff than what you're doing?

(, Tue 9 Sep 2014, 14:18, Reply)
I have discovered that Google Sheets is "fucking shit"
