yeah fairly simple. salt/sugar/honey/soy/tomato puree.
About a tablespoon of each and then a red chilli and a couple of crushed garlic cloves. boil together let it cool then baste the ribs.

Nice, I can never remember the exact stuff on my BBQ Sauces 'cus I always chuck in whatever I got.
Mustard and sundried toms are a regular on that though.

You have to make it a lot stronger than you think because it loses something when it's cooked.

Yah', true, but it also gets a better texture and that 'unami' to it.
I bet you a drop of pineaple would do a good job too, maybe instead of the honey - as that can burn too.
