However, I agree with you Humpty on principle. I did find the last 10 pages of last week's question a tad tedious. I gave up trying to find the posts to which I had wanted to respond.
The majority of the content was harmless, friendly banter, which might have been better conducted on a thread. As it transpired, it did somewhat defeat the object of qotw, in my humble opinion. Most of the people involved are favourite qotw contributers of mine, of whom I am fond. So I went to the pub instead.

p.s. I am especially fond of you Humpty. The fact that you are a decent bloke is evident from your posts - particularly the one about the 11-year old boy on 'interweb x
