Girls!
Don't get me wrong, I love girlies but...

I really hate the way that as soon as the sun comes and the weather gets warmer all the females in my office are allowed to wear the following:

*Flip-flops
*Shorts
*T-Shirts
*Singlets

And the guys in my office have to make do with:

*Suits
*Shirts
*Ties
*Black leather shoes

This is blatant sexism and it peeves me off good and proper.

When did this become the norm!?

I know seriousness has no place here
but I'd complaint to HR - if the blokes have to stick to a strict code, so should the girls. Flip flops in an office - just wrong.

I'm sure
you'd be fine wearing that. give it a go if you're jealous

bollocks to that
when it gets hot I wear shorts, t-shirt or casual shirt, and sandals.

if anyone doesn't like it they can suffer because I control the air conditioning

Men in charge who like to see pretty women undressed, fuck equality and fairness, blah,
Oh, and men can't be discriminated against just for being men. Women can but we just can't. It's the law.

Well, you could remove your tie
It does seem sexist that they're prescribed for you. Stand your ground!

I, smugly, am sitting in my office in shorts and sandles. Yay me.

nazis
Yeah - this pisses me off too. Last year there were girls in the tiniest hot pants walking round the office, but my boss looked at me like i'd broken into his house at christmas and raped his kids when I asked if i could wear shorts!

I don't have
To wear a shirt or tie.
But I can't wear shorts, even in the summer, as walking through the sawmill you get your legs cunted to fuck by bits of spikey wood.

That doesn't sound right to me
Try asking if it's ok to wear summer wear, though obviously best to stick to smartish still if usual wear is suit etc., if it's not ask why the women are an exception, and if there's still no recognition of equality then complain to HR/managers as I think someone already suggested.

Clicked
Because I'm sitting here now suited and booted and I'm sweating my bits off. The lady opposite me however, is wearing a light summer dress (showing off the wrinkly cleavage that older women get).

Click.
Because I also wish I could wear a nice summer dress into work.

Time to Rebel!
Go to work in speedos!

Dangerous fucking things....
I know someone who had a bad fall at work caused by wearing flip flops on the stairs. Fucking things should be banned. The noise they make in the office when the wearer is walking about is reason enough. *WHACK, WHACK* *Clicks*
