Ooh, and Kuja335, 'Does that hurt!?' as a conversation opener about my ears' stretched piercings (or flesh tunnels if you prefer)
Yeh, I am in constant unerring pain, look at me here, shaking in agony.

*sigh*

Is this in any way distinguished from DID that hurt?
because personally I've had zero experience of just how easy it is to stretch your ears and have often wondered if it's uncomfortable in the early stages as you're building it up.

If it's an annoying question at least I'll know not to actually ask next time the opportunity comes up whereas I probably would have done if it had come up before.

Will people learn?

Fair enough i have earings ( shite in comparason i know :P ) and they twinge a bit when theyre pulled (people like to do this when drunk) but i agree

@Jessie
Yes it does a bit when you're making them, 'cos basically what you're doing is literally stretching them, which means you have to keep putting stuff in that's a little bit too big for the hole it's going into, fnarr fnarr, but if you're sensible and aren't expecting to go from 1mm to 10mm in a week (it should take about a month a millimetre if you're being sensible about it) then it is only slightly uncomfortable and red for the first week of each month, and after that it's just normal upkeep as you wait a bit for the stretched skin to thicken.
Oh, and if you remove them they will just eventually disappear again, it's not permanent unless you cause scarring, again by rushing things.

If you do rush it and it tears then you really have to start A-A-ALL over again, well, unless you like having something that looks like a second bumhole permanently in your ear forever, so patience is a virtue.

But once it's done, nope, no pain at all.

BTW, watched some 'normal spods do the army thing' reality TV prog once and they decided they must remove a blokes cock piercing, and they got the army doctor to do it and made a huge deal about it using all sorts of medical implements to prise it open, and afterwards the sergeant was telling him how proud he was of how well he fared through the midst of what must have been unbearable pain.
I have a cock piercing, it barely hurt to do (they numb it first) and now I can take it out and put it back in anytime I like without the need of a doctor or any special implements exactly the same as any other piercing, so I was crying with laughter at the incredulous look on the poor would-be soldiers face at the fuss they was making about it, Hahaha!

@WiL
Thank you sir, I really appreciate that :D

I wish I'd seen that programme, it sounds hilarious, they really do love making that junk tv over-dramatic

^ What wil said.
I have taken out and stretched mine back up to 11mm a couple of times and no problems. If you start getting bigger than that then your ears are going to stay stretched. It hurts like fuck when your doing it but I take a couple of pain killers before I do it to deaden the throbbing afterwards and use tapers.
