This is a question Public Transport Trauma

Completely Underwhelmed writes, "I was on a bus the other day when a man got on wearing shorts, over what looked like greeny grey leggings. Then the stench hit me. The 'leggings' were a mass of open wounds, crusted with greenish solidified pus that flaked off in bits as he moved."

What's the worst public transport experience you've ever had?

Got to love the 192
Especially the magic 192.

I used to love
the delights of the magic 192.

Never got it as far as Stockport mind. I did once drive to Stockport. I discovered that although there are plenty of road signs showing you the way from Manchester to Stockport, there are none the other way round. It's as if someone didn't want people form Stockport to be able to drive to Manchester easily.

Care to enlighten us Americans?
This is kind of like the joke about the club where they all knew all of the jokes, so they assigned them numbers. Someone would shout out "38!" and the place would erupt into laughter. (Ultimately one man screamed out "117!" which brought the house down as they'd never heard that one before.)

So what's to tell about 192?

Get the 66 to Trafford/Eccles,
then get the 22 to Stockport.

can't be as bad as the 192... Though it is full of Salfordesians.

The 192
Well, the 192 is the bus service from Manchester city centre out to Stockport, on the outskirts.

...It's not a nice bus to take. Ever.
