Blackpool.

Most people in the Uk have had the misfortune to visit Blackpool. However if you are one of the ones who haven't, don't fucking bother.

Dirty, shitty fucking streets, at weekends its taken over by cunts on the ale, and girls who think wearing fuck all when they are a Size 18+ is great. It isn't love.

There are loads of Polish here, (we even have a Polish Quarter now, we have the highest divorce rate in the country, the highest teenage pregnancy rate in the country, and a massive massive crime issue.

We have some of the highest Council Tax rates in the country, the least Policeman per person rates, the most speed cameras per square mile, however......

We have fucking millions of pretty bulbs on the promenade that twinkle every year and a big ugly fucking tower that does fuck all.

Oh and its a fiver just to walk round the pleasure beach now.

Cunts.

And too add to all that fucking despair and poverty, people pin you against walls with Honda Accords if you look like a bag head.

I live in St. Annes
which is just down the road but is actually nice and full of old people on holiday. I merely use Blackpool as a place to get drunk, cos it's quite good for a night out tbh. Wouldn't want to live there though.

Blackpool
is the only place where I've seen a stolen car abandoned before my very eyes. It's also the only place I've ever found someone's stolen and discarded wallet and had to hand it into the police.

Its horrible, just horrible.

I used to love it as a kid, I remember going back when i was about 15 with my mates, and returning home to tell my mum how much it had changed since i was a kid, and how horrible it was.

She merely confirmed it had always been like that, but my innocent eyes just didnt see it.

on another note, My mate stayed in a B&B which had a toilet with a curtain as a door. When asking to use the ironing facilties he ended up ironing his shirt in someones front room, whilst they all ate their tea watching corrie.

It still cost them £80 a night... :S

Couldnt agree more..
I've worked here too - as soon as the seasons over, the place is like a shanty town.

Blackpool during the summer is a haven for pissed up Mancs, Geordies, Scots (who hone in on the Karaoke Bars) and Scousers.

Pikeys own most of the amusements, and shitty stalls, and if you wander down a back street by mistake - you're fair game to the locals.

They're redoing some of the place up a bit now, which basically means a few shiny sculptures, and yes, a few more lights..
