Not being defensive or anything (although obviously yes)I spent my whole childhood at boarding school, and therefore had to do my own ironing, sew on buttons, cook any food I wanted for myself outside fixed meals served about a mile from where I lived/slept, generally cope for myself.
I even managed to have an operation at 16 that I genuinely forgot to tell my parents about.
Let's get this straight. Public schools are not the cause of self-centred spineless *&%$s. They merely have their fair share.
