I've done it for about 3 years now. We have 3 more games, I'm taking a week "off" then training starts. It's much the same at the end of the soccer season.

We train for an hour once a week and a game on the weekend.

I have (had) a couple of hard-cases. Read: pay little attention other than to say How come?". I make it start & if kids muck I'll deal with it if anyone is unhappy with me Never had a complaint.

Mostly it involves the mouth. and kids basically. After the first few times I realised I needed.

1st off they get a sit on opposite for 5 min. (that usually works because they hate being left out).
Then it gets interesting.
I get both boys (as is often the case) in-hand with actions. If they refuse to do it then they aren't welcome. This is usually when the parents start to take notice. And laugh.
If they continue to fight (after that humiliation) I take them in front of everyone they have to apologise and then they have to give each other a big, strong, manly hug.

It's only happened a couple of times for me And each time the kids got with each other and all of the parents. Including the parents of the kids involved.
Me I was nuts, Honestly.

Trust me a bunch of kids a couple of times a week is an excellent stress relief.

Both versions read pretty scary. And as to the booze, I have a nationwide 'shut for the holidays' as an excuse. Didn't think the hired help got the same days off?
