This is a question Thrown away: The stuff you loved and lost.

Smash Wogan writes, "we all love our Mums, but we all know that Mums can be cunts, throwing out our carefully hoarded crap that we know is going to be worth millions some day."

What priceless junk have you lost because someone just threw it out?

Zero points for "all my porn". Unless it was particularly good porn...

Just remembered (slightly twisting question, but who cares)
My brother, while a little 'un, taped over my Dad's video of the 1966 World Cup Final on the simple logic that "it was really old". Nice one.

That is all. I'm half asleep and can't be arsed to attempt to word this to be be funny.

I have no idea, and can't be arsed to go on wikipedia (to pick a website completely at random) to check, but the facts are accurate in my story: brother did tape over the video of the world cup final to Dad's consternation. Meh.

vcr
Well, VCR was invented in the 70`s, and a player would cost more than a brand new car. Before this, other formats would have been available for comercial use.
It wasnt until the mid 70`s that the whole vhs/betamax thing started and prices became affordable for home use.

Must have been a repeat ;)
