vcrWell, VCR was invented in the 70`s, and a player would cost more than a brand new car. Before this, other formats would have been available for comercial use.
It wasnt until the mid 70`s that the whole vhs/betamax thing started and prices became affordable for home use.
Must have been a repeat ;)
