This is a question I met a weirdo on the interweb

Now, I've met lots of nice people on the internet - but it's the weird ones that stick in your mind. Such as the guy who borrowed a film off me in Cambridge and turned out to be so smelly, so hairy, so nervous and, well, so downright needy that I've never bothered getting it back.

Tell us about the strange people you've met on the internet.

Being a rather well-cushioned woman
and probably what some of you would refer to as 'whale-sized, I thought I should add my experience to the mix to balance things up.

As I have said, I am a big girl. What would be termed a BBW. When single, I used a couple of BBW dating sites (not wishing to waste my time on men who were likely to behave like some in the answers to this QOTW). I also used a 'normal' dating site, out of curiosity. I was quite honest about my weight, and never led anyone on. I'm only interested in a man who will appreciate what he is going to get after all ;

I have to say it was fun. Chubby-chasers are generally lovely, attractive, intelligent, and charming. However the men I got chatting to on 'normal' sites were slightly odd. Mainly one guy who claimed to be the lead singer of a little known mancunian band (They are called Politburo, I think they are still around but not sure).

Anyhoo, we got chatting on Yahoo messenger, and after about 5 minutes he decides to tell me he is wearing an old pair of underpants his father had given him.

An old pair of brown nylon Y-FRONTS.

And they are itching him slightly.

To cut a long story short, this guy messaged me incessantly, and I was quite polite to him, even to the point of counselling him when he felt a bit low. He kept on mentioning how useful it would be to get advice from a witch (meaning me) regarding what it was like on the 'other side' as he kept thinking how easy it would be to kill himself.

Eventually he asked me out on a date, and I blocked him.

There was also a 19 year old economics student, who was a virgin. He stalked me over msn and I had to change my account 3 times before I got rid of him. There was also one bloke who printed off the photo on my yahoo profile, and kept it on his desk at work, telling everyone I was his 'girlfriend'. I'd only spoke to him twice.

I'm so glad I'm not single any more.
