She squeezed baby gravy from a used johnny up her clunge MGT.
I don't think there is a good way to say that.

I once read a story about a guy who steals nappies from cancer wards and text-tubes from STI wards, and eats them.
He wants to get _every_ sti there is, all at once. I think the artical was in BMZ or something like that, he called himself The Human Garbage and I think he was from new york.

Liz Jones is about equal to him.
(, Thu 10 Nov 2011, 10:55, archived)
Text Tubes will one day replace the Kindle.

(, Thu 10 Nov 2011, 10:58, archived)

I feel the other way round.
How intriguing.
More to the point, what is the use of that u in intriguing?
(, Thu 10 Nov 2011, 11:38, archived)
it gives the 'i' an "ee" sound,
rather than the an "eye" sound it might otherwise acquire without a double 'g'.

Also it is there to maintain regularity as the gerund of "intrigue".
(, Thu 10 Nov 2011, 12:44, archived)
g is softened by i, as a general rule.
the u makes it a hard g, just like in guile and guild and guinness and anguish.

i know, gilt doesn't fit. English doesn't have a lot of consistent sense

Is it possible for a song to be unusual and good?
Are there any examples of songs which are unsual and good?
I really like This Is The Monkey by The Modified Toy Orchestra.
That is unusual and I think it is good.
(, Thu 10 Nov 2011, 10:38, archived)
How unusual something is is subjective, isn't it?

I didn't say that

(, Thu 10 Nov 2011, 11:18, archived)
no it just seems that you picked the less obviously subjective one to call out as subjective

I remember seeing a band years ago, a support act.
One song was called dunkin donuts. A strange speed metal effort.

DUNKIN'S..... DONUTS RULE.
DUNKIN'S DONUTS RUUUUUULE.
(, Thu 10 Nov 2011, 10:47, archived)
yeah I think so,
what's "usual" is only a product of culture, there's a lot of Eastern music which would sound pretty unusual to us.
(, Thu 10 Nov 2011, 10:53, archived)
Yadda yadda.
Give examples. I'm basically looking for people to recommend me music without them knowing.

or any traditional Arab music
www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3G7VW1RMks
It sometimes sounds a bit out of tune to us, but it isn't. Arabic music uses a scale of 24 equal intervals, compared to our paltry 12 tone scale.

19 tone equal temperament is also quite fun
