When we were a lad, bike rides didn't need safety helmets and playgrounds were made of concrete. This world has gone too soft - so take an aspect of daily life and shop it to be more dangerous, like the good old days.

edit: The question is, which one is dangerous. I love Ubuntu, but it don’t half drive me up the wall sometimes.
is it any good?
my pirated version of XP is running so pap that I'm thinking of changing and I don't like the look of Vista.

Yes, its very good, and (for Linux) very easy to install and use. There is also a super helpful community out their to answer your questions. The only reason why I have a Windows box left in my house is because I use it for gaming. And seeing as the next iteration of direct X will only be released for Vista, my windows gaming days are pretty much over anyway.
All of the software is free, and it all installs with the click of a button straight from the interweb

oh btw
you can try it by booting form the live CD, it doesn’t make any changes to your hard disk, or you can install it vai Wubi wubi-installer.org/ which kind of installs it to a virtual hard (in one big file, a bit like virtual PC or something (except that you actually boot from it, you don’t run it in windows)) thus not making any changes to the format of your disk and not harming windows (meaning that if you don’t like it, you just have to delete one file form windows and its gone)
right, that’s enough geekyness for now I think
