# nicely
there's a lot of negativity about these.

They're nicely made characters - look quite good in fact, in an aesthetic way, but suitable as mascots? weird.

# I expect they will get up to capers and shenanigans

# I dunno...
...I find them oddly characterless. They don't have particularly recognizable silhouettes either, without the letters on their heads you'd be hard pushed to tell the difference between them.

# Unfashionably enough...
... I think they're rather good.

# I feel they will grow on me
As works of art, I think they're pretty cool

# Yup.
Even the logo has grown on me, actually...

# I think it's just those large, cyclopean eyes.
Like something out of H.P. Lovecraft's nightmares.

# They just make me think of Kang and Kodos
from the Simpsons

# Ah-ha!
I knew they reminded me of something else. Foolish humans!

# I agree sir!
They are a little 'odd' though, but maybe they'll grow on me :)

# They remind me of Pinky and the Brain
which inspired my post a bit further up^

They look rather more malevolent than cute, like maybe they're more likely to use the Olympics to subdue the human race with subliminal messages during the opening ceremony.

# I like them

# they do have that cartoon monster quality about them
rather than the cuteness you would expect of a mascot
