Was it made completely from scratch, or did you just shop a load of bits on top of a found poster?
If you made it from scratch, then colour me impressed, because it looks very 'authentic' to that time period and area.

made it completely from scratch. The original poster was more garishly coloured though; I muted the colours right down. Also, the insects were from engravings, I added the coloured textures to them, and the shadow under the near caterpillar. So, not that impressive I guess.
