And then there was a dog!
Hands up who's lurking and can't be arsed to reply anymore?
Without lovely, lovely feedback it's not surprising people can't be arsed to post pictures.
Come on, it's a Thursday with a new image challenge, this place should be going like shit off a shovel :(

I'm here most of the time
but I don't see why I should bother posting anymore, this place is so fucking clique it's not even funny.

I think that's just because it's one small group holding the place together/keeping posting
the only way to diversify and break any sense of a clique is to encourage more posting

small group holding court more like.

I applaud your one armed honesty :)
come on people, b3ta is a symbiotic relationship, no comments means no pictures and no pictures means no comments.
We've all got to pull our weight :D

I have thirty teenagers in my library to keep an eye on
a hard multi-task keeping an eye on b3ta at the same time

and not, you know, gone Savile on us.

Busy at work, don't have the occasional couple of hours to make pics which is why I haven't posted much of late
but I admit that's no excuse to not drop the occasional one-word praise. Just lazy and clicking 'like' instead :(

I wonder how many people stopped posting when the "i like this" button appeared
for a lazy person it takes all the effort out of appreciation

it used to be the case that even if people didn't like something
they would still spend 10 seconds saying hi or welcoming a new person.
I guess the trend for creative nonsense and puerile humour is waning.
People grew up and the young'uns are too busy playing Xboxtendos

Nice that people click their appreciation
Has the button ever in the past been only available to donators?

to be honest I think it's the morals of a heavy handed mod(s) and the nasty lynch mob mentality that's to blame
for chasing a fuck load of old b3tans away

she has me of ignore 2.0 but I heard she spat her dummy out again
something about being in the top 3 of a challenge and not getting the credit she deserves in the newsletter

not rumours..I was told about it and came here, wasn't logged in and seen the strop myself.
and I'm too outspoken to be in a clique.

2012 is definitely shaping up to be b3ta's most contentious year.

Most forums I read are slower than they used to be, not just b3ta.
My theories are either that people prefer to share a joke or opinion on Twitter because they prefer the speed of that, or that simply forums tend to grow up with their users.
I'd imagine that the average b3tan age is probably 30-something now, an age where you tend to also lose interesting friends in the real world to marriage, babies and mortgage talk.

I think Twitter is to blame for the lack of chit chat
I still don't see the appeal of the damn thing though

I think people like its speed,
though I personally prefer forums precisely because they are slower and so you usually get more thought-out conversations.

Yep true.
My other forums have slowed right down, I put it down to Twitter and Reddit.

there's a lot of funny out there as well
don't use twitter for sport and my following celebrities is limited.
I just spew my caustic opinion on what's on my tv, and post pictures.
it's a bit like being on /board/talk without the wankers

The stream of consciousness element of Twitter is still quite bewildering to me.
I don't really give a fuck what some random person is looking at/eating/thinking about doing right now.
I use it, but mostly just to keep up with bands, artists, directors and TV shows I admire/enjoy.

Simple truth is I've run out of ideas, I had very few to begin with, and they've completely dried up.
Also, I don't really understand the drugs thing.

I think it still can depend on the compo to some extent.
This one requires some thought and image research, whereas ones like "animate an album cover" have lots of imagery and can be done quickly.

I like compos that I get in my head way before photoshop is opened up
Or ones that wake me up with an idea, rather than ones that keep me awake trying to think of one.
