I went to see my solicitor about buying a house today,
and all the cover sheets and file note headings in our conveyancing file are in Comic Sans. Very professional looking.

i'm sorry, that's hilarious.
it's better than the time i got a flyer completely written in that Curly font. I could not read it.

The most unusual
place I've seen it used is on the signs for the public toilets in Wakefield.

"No officer, I wasn't
loitering, I was simply admiring the font on the signage."
Constable: "Admiring it? Why that's Comic Sans. You're nicked sonny."

I think it got a bit far last year
when I refused to accept posters from students in my class if they had used Comic Sans.
I got around it by saying "it looks childish and I want work that looks professional".

Fail them!!
Fail them at IT (isn't it ICT nowadays? am getting old) if they use Times New Roman 'cos it just means they can't change the default font :P I always had my work in Book Antiqua, never fails to get me more marks that.
