Its not really a republican thing, it just gets a bit annoying. I imagine Canadians feel similarly about "America"
(, Thu 22 Jun 2006, 14:44, archived)
# I agree
Like when Green Day played Oxegen last year. They spent most of the time complaining about Bush. Then, from what I heard at the time, they topped it off by saying something along the lines of "And your Prime Minister Tony Blair isn't much better, either!"

Attention-whore cunts.

OK, I'll have a go:

A bottle of Buckfast tonic wine
A bottle of strawberry mad dog
125ml of blue nun
1 can of Tennants Super
1 can of Carlesberg special brew
1 can of tesco value lager flavoured drink
1 litre of Absinth
And 100ml of Baileys

Pour it all into a big vessel, perhaps a bucket. For flavouring, and to make it look prettier, you could float some asparagus, Bruschetta, poached egg, new potatoes, home grown salad leaves, and the main ingredient - home cured Parma boar.

I will call it The Mighty Gusset

Beat that.
