It was just a major shock! I suspect it was suicide. he had been threatening to do it and had already attempted suicide twice in the last 4 weeks. We had split up, and now I feel so guilty. :(

it is pointless to put yourself on a "what if" coulda/shoulda/woulda guilt trip. all you can do is to make peace with the shitty situation, don't put yourself on a guilt trip it'll only make you miserable, try and get on with your life the best you can.
