Me and the missus have just finished watching the last available episode of that last week, sadly about 2 days late to see the 2 hour special aired on Sky that is between series 6 and the new 7.

Still, he had a battle of the bands gig that night anyway and if he hadn't been there they wouldn't have won the heat ;)

season 6 started well, but went awry, this looks like a new slate.
Check out the 2 hour special, as many new characters form season 7 are introduced in there

It's released on dvd soon (or has just been released)
so I'll probably buy it, for the sake of completeness and because I like to own copies of stuff.

Series 6 was a bit of a weak one, we've had all nighters watching previous series because we can't put it down, but that just wasn't there with the last one.
