I was leaning over the worktop in my kitchen
to open the window at the top, and as I reached forward my stool slipped back, forcing my whole weight onto my bottom right rib. I think I heard a crack....

have you turned into a wimp and seen a doctor?

Nah not yet.
The way I figure it, is if I go to the doctors they will just refer me to the hospital, where I will have to sit for hours just for them to confirm it is broken, and say they can't do anything about it.

Sorry to hear that mate!
I did somthing similar a few years back and made the mistake of waiting for hours in the hospital.
Might be worth going if you're getting any internal stabbing pains though.

Well what is starting to worry me
is that it has been getting more and more painful each day, and I think that is a sign of bleeding isn't it?
