If anyone could advise on how to bring out his face a bit more without losing the colour it would be appreciated.

...try what I did with 'Hulk Hogan', do a separate layer as green and set it to overprint, that way
you retain the detail and can 'rub out' the green layer eyes and teeth etc. :)
