The World According To America (This challenge is now closed)

Americans are always being accused of knowing nothing about the World beyond their borders. But can this really be true? This week's challenge will provide the answers...

They always complain then say they don't bother voting...

Only my 2nd ever post but let's get opinionated...
I've met a lot of Americans, it always amused me that they tell you how they hate the man in charge at the time... Then they reveal they can't be bothered to vote... Well don't be surprised at which idiots get elected then!

London fog

Years ago me and Mrs Bixx were in New Hampshire in this quaint little guesthouse. Staying in the guesthouse was this obnoxious Texan SOB who insisted on asking, 'What about that London fog?'.
This happened as well...

This happened in California...Mrs Bixx replied that we didn't know her but then again, maybe she lived in the other street.

this was a particularly satisfying argument that we had with some twenty year-old American buffoon who had "done England".
[Mod edit: there now, no need for three threads when one would have done.]
