to be fair
the SJWs are making a lot of places miserable.
And while we're on the subject... what has Stephen Fry actually done that makes him a national treasure? Some people act like he's the cleverest man in the UK!

A Bit of Fry and Laurie, a couple of series of Blackadder, then QI as far as I can see
He's a colossal royal toady though so his knighthood is pretty much assured

I like Richard Briars with Michael Horden
But that's on the radio. I agree the Fry and Laurie version was great on TV

A colleague at work asked me how I was, since he knew I had a cold
"Not too bad, but I sound American" I feebly joked, referring to my blocked nose.
Cue a half-hour rant from him about not having to work in such a xenophobic environment, how the global company has global principles where no-one should be put down based on their race, creed or gender, and how I was completely out of order in judging another culture because mocking = aggression.
With people like that around, I completely sympathise with Mr. Fry.

there was a definite whiff of 'punching down' to what Fry said
It was room full of rich twats sneering at the dress sense of a woman most people have never heard of.
Basically he should have kept the snidey comments for Tom Cruise and that

Such a hypocrite.
"sanctimoniously self-righteous who love to second-guess, to leap to conclusions and be offended – worse, to be offended on behalf of others they do not even know" sounds to me like a spot on description of the kind of twat he is.

I don't get it
He mentions a percentage of people who have 'peed in the pool', which I get, but doesn't provide examples to bolster his position.

I like the way he gets everything relating to the slightest bit of science completely wrong
Who was it said "Stephen Fry; A stupid person's idea of what a genius is like"?

I think it was Peter Hitchens
Who, like everyone who regurgitates it, is a bit of a god-help-us. Though I suspect not even Hitchens expected Fry to know absolutely everything, including all science.

Yup,
Always thought Fry was as thick as shite. I mean, it's obvious that he's an utter spastic.
