This is a normal post And thus I messed up...
Quote: "Although the terms cement and concrete often are used interchangeably, cement is actually an ingredient of concrete. Concrete is basically a mixture of aggregates and paste. The aggregates are sand and gravel or crushed stone; the paste is water and portland cement. Concrete gets stronger as it gets older. Portland cement is not a brand name, but the generic term for the type of cement used in virtually all concrete, just as stainless is a type of steel and sterling a type of silver. Cement comprises from 10 to 15 percent of the concrete mix, by volume. Through a process called hydration, the cement and water harden and bind the aggregates into a rocklike mass. This hardening process continues for years meaning that concrete gets stronger as it gets older. "

This is a normal post Another aficionado?

Not just Portland cement....You can blend with Pulverised Fly Ash (PFA) to give different curing times and strengths. A 70/30 PC/PFA is good for an RC40 mix, self-batched in a volumetric mixer.

Don't get me started on 'Free water' and 'fines'...

God, I'm dull.

This is a normal post Wait...
why did you correct him when he said cement shoes? You could make cement shoes. It might not have the same properties without some aggregate, but for the purposes of weighing someone down to drown them, as pcmechanic planned, it'd be perfectly suitable.

This is a normal post That had no right to be funny.
But it was. Surprised this isnt a bigger meme.

There could have easily been a more mundane version where they follow correct health and safety protocol and realise that it's an unsafe situation. They leave the machine spinning and put a barrier around it that nobody is allowed to cross because it's spinny and dangerous. YEARS of health and safety meetings follow to determine the safest and most cost effective way to stop the rampaging beast of a spinning concrete machine thing. There are pie charts.

The machine wins when the meetings go on for so long that the machine has used up ALL THE FUEL ON EARTH and everyone dies because their house is cold. Then the machine spins to the the centre of the earth and releases all the red hot spaghetti bolognese inside, which destroys earth itself.

I'm sorry, I got a bit carried away.

your version scares me... but i am sure somewhere, there is a machine spinning and endless meetings being held, just no one has filmed it yet.

I'd have tried suffocating the engine with the jet from a CO2 extinguisher. Might that have worked?
