This is a normal post I've scanned about half way through
It makes more sense than the filmed script. Worth a read, if only for what could have been.

It's better than what was filmed. Essentially the same but without the general untidiness of the filmed script. You can see where new stuff got shoehorned in and why it ended up a mess.

edit: Lead archaeologist is less of a nob, which is a good thing. David is less ambiguous which is the only slightly rubbish thing. Vickers has a reason to behave like a nob and a real reason for being there. The two guys who get lost still get lost, but in a less rubbish way. All the plot points are there, but all the religious guff and mysterious bollocks has been left out.
