It's not a get-out-of-jail card yet, but it's encouraging. It's a sign that parliament is doing its constitutional job by being a representative government, not a bunch of Pavlov's Dogs being led by the nose by an ill-considered plebiscite.

This is a normal post Good, the leaving process needs to have parliament supervision.
I very much doubt it will block the process though.

This is a normal post Why do people forget
that parliament voted 6 to 1 in favour of having a referendum? Now they overwhelmingly want to overrule the result of the very referendum they voted for.

This is a normal post I believe the usual form is as follows:
Protagonist A tells protagonist B what he thinks protagonist B's position is, and why it is wrong.
Protagonist B tells Protagonist A he is a cunt.

This is a normal post Nothing like a long lingering divorce to make everything better.
(edit)
Labour bods have been on the radio saying they're not going to vote against brexit so I wouldn't get your hopes up that it's not going to happen.

What does look set to happen is parliament gets a say on the starting negotiating stance which is fair enough.

Also if it does end up delaying things then it'll clash with the EU elections which could be interesting.

This is a normal post Yeah
Lets have a really long hiatus with lots of fucking dithering before we leave. Decisiveness and agility are overrated. What we need is layers of bureauocracy and plenty of them.
