Anybody that's ever dealt with an unruly goose can surely relate to this. I'm surprised the dog didn't massacre it

Would have been much better if it'd pushed the guy into the blades of his motor.

I have had similar experiences with Greylag Geese on the River Thames. I really was getting ready to throttle one of the sods if they had another crack at me on my way to work. They stand as yet the only animal I have given a genuine “clip round the ear” to.

I can totally understand his reaction... I was bullied by some psychotic geese on a daily basis on my way to school. If the animal world would be nazi Germany, geese would be the SS.

...That was probably hell on the knees, no wonder the Krauts lost the war.

coming home on my bike on the canal towpath, one evening i stopped, and gave the fucker a good kicking.

On the one hand its just a dumb animal and thinks its protecting itself or its eggs probably. On the other hand geese are fucking evil.

Also, impossible to look cool dealing with the aggressive sods.
Fighting off grizzly = manly
Fighting off goose = embarrassing

I don't profess to be an expert on goose love but at 1:10 it looks like the goose is trying to mount the dog? The biting is all part of the foreplay, I think.

Only a quick twist of the neck away from a delicious roast goose.
