This is a question Banks

Your Ginger Fuhrer froths, "I hate my bank. Not because of debt or anything but because I hate being sold to - possibly pathologically so - and everytime I speak to them they try and sell me services. Gold cards, isas, insurance, you know the crap. It drives me insane. I ALREADY BANK WITH YOU. STOP IT. YOU MAKE ME FRIGHTED TO DO MY NORMAL BANKING. I'm angry even thinking about them."

So, tell us your banking stories of woe.

No doubt at least one of you has shagged in the vault, shat on a counter or thrown up in a cash machine. Or something

God - when you owe them money they are on your back with phone calls proffering polite threats with regard to payements,i was some 4 1/2 K in debt and when i finally had to wedge to pay it off they made clearing the debt so difficult i nearly exploded with frustration.

I think they preffer it when you owe them money as they can break out the thumbscrews to negociate "terms" !!!

I so agree,

I get 5/6 calls per day about my £1k overdraft (which is all charges). As soon as I get acknowledgement of my claims letter, I intend to call them 5/6 times a day asking when they are going to pay me my money back.

When you are in debt, you have responsibilities to them. when you are in credit, they have responsibilities to you.

You can understand their having a preference...
