World War ZRead the book; don’t just wait for the film if you’re one of 'those' people - it will bear little resemblance to the text anyway as I understand it. Anyway, a fantastic read.

Didn't like itI think it was very bitty. It just seemed like a bunch of briefly sketched out Zombie scenarios - I never really got in to any of the stories or characters particularly before it moved on.

Up to a point, Lord CopperWorld War Z was an attempt, mostly successful, to impose the structure of John Hackett's "The Third World War: A Future History" onto Dawn of the Dead.
However, it wasn't the reportage that got me into it: it was the description of John Stewart and Ann Coulter fucking as the Apocalypse approaches.
