I had a browse

through my collection of 300 or so DVD's last night to see if I could stir up any forgotten memories and came across (not like that!) another few films that made an impression on me at some point.

Once were Warriors - All about Maori warriors and how they deal with the societal problems of being treated as outcasts.

I.D. - Four policemen go undercover and infiltrate a gang of football hooligans one of which gets a little too involved!

Ferris Bueller's Day Off - Pure Class, if only for Mia Sara's pool scene,
Hmmm.. Luuurrrvvvly!

I.D.
was a pretty good film. Better than Green Street Hooligans and Football Factory I seem to recall.

Really?
I thought Once Were Warriors was about Maori warriors and how they deal with the societal problems of a lack of iggs.

Must not have paid enough attention.

Hmmmmm
I didn't think they were warriors at all,but were in fact a dysfunctional family. The title was taken from a speech given by the mother after the daughters kills herself if I remember correctly.

Damn good film though.
