This is a question Bizarre habits

Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic tells us: "Until I pointed it out, my other half use to hang out the washing making sure that both pegs were the same colour. Now she goes out of her way to make sure they never match." Tell us about bizarre rituals, habits and OCD-like behaviour.

Not so much now but in the past I was in the habit of always carrying some tissues.
It got to the point where I would panic if I went out and didn't have any to hand. I hardly ever used them but I had to have them just in case. I'm also addicted to lip salve. I have one at work, one in my bag, one on my bedside table, one in my makeup bag and one on the living room table. As soon as I start to run out of one then I buy another immediatley. When I die, my lips will probably be the last thing to dessicate.

Oh and I used to hate leaving the house without any money. Just a pound would be enough to keep my feeling safe.

Oh and I very rarely run out of things at home. I always remember to stock up before it does.

Thanks, BeeGee.
I didn't realise I had the tissue complex until I read that. I'm sure it's because Muvver always made sure I took a hanky with me always.
She definitely is the reason I can't go out without money - apparently unless you can show means of support (to whit, M'lord, a shilling* in coin of the realm) you can be hoiked off to the cells and charged with vagrancy.
And I'm anal about restocking - especially loo rolls. Probably a memory suppressed there and long may it remain so.
Now I can put it all down to rationing. What's your excuse?
*5p for you mongs.

Is it true about the vagrancy charge?
I have been lead to believe it still stands but too lazy, or forgetful, to find out.
As for the toilet roll -- the consequences of running out make me wonder why everyone doesn't have a stock-pile.

Ah, yes. Money.
I never feel truly happy if I don't have enough money with me to get back home.

You know
desiccate (and its derivatives) is among the most commonly misspelt word.
