Youthful MisguidanceI sometimes like to just throw in a lie about my past with co-workers and one of the best reactions I got was when i was out for dinner with a group from work, one of whom was a rather credulous 22 year-old (I was a grand old 29) lady called Jane.
everyone was rather impressed with my method of pouring wine without spilling a drop (turn the bottle as you finish pouring), so I casually lied that I learnt the technique when i was briefly a Somelier in Paris.
"REALLY?!" was the reply.
