Today I've invented a brand.
I want to prove and show that I can create a brand out of nothing, which will include a massive comercial social media presence and website. I'm developing logos, pictures, storyboards and treating it as if its a paying client.

It's called AmazeDogs and its all about dogs, the direction is hopefully going to eventually get sponsorship and advertisement from dog related brands, such as pet food, homes, dog walkers and all of that.

I would very much like it, if anyone has a dog or loves dogs and would be interested in writing/photographing/videoing/anything, they would like to help me, that would be fantastic.

"He really does 'amaze' dogs"

Serious reply.
What does Amaze Dogs actually do? Or is it just a name at the moment.

They'll be lots of things, it'll be hard to limit them to be honest.
Guides, product reviews, videos, stories, advice, articles, photos, news items, links to charities and adoption appeals... and that's what I can think of off the top of my head.

The idea is to have daily content

A small thing to consider but...
As a dog owner, and knowing dog owners, I always like to find new walks. Some map-hosting would be an idea.

0o0oh, that's cool, and deffo doable.

Also, if you get it going, I'll have a word with our dog-food shop
They make/market their own properly protein balanced food, not like the shite that the big companies sell.

Shame it's been done:
www.dogster.com/ (not as dodgy as the URL reads - SFW).
(, Wed 28 Mar 2012, 18:16, Reply)
There are millions of websites and brands about dogs, doesn't mean to say there isn't room for one more.

Have a look at this: www.alexa.com/siteinfo/dogster.com# their traffic is non existent in the UK - partnership for content might be your way forward.

I don't think they would part with their key asset, and if they would, it wouldn't be in budget.
Replicated content is also a really bad thing for SEO traffic. They're way above my game at the moment, and probably always will be, but they've got a few really good ideas that I might be able to emulate.

I like the other one better

(, Wed 28 Mar 2012, 19:14, Reply)
Yeah', me too, I'm trying to work it out a square shaped icon though.

(, Wed 28 Mar 2012, 19:40, Reply)
As square shaped works better for app icons?
