Busy :-)
I hope the cider bash is dry.

I don't like sweet cider

Do you not get a big choice?
I have real ale drinking mates up here - is there a real cider thing?
(, Wed 28 Mar 2012, 22:04, Reply)
I suspect in Zummerzet there is.

I've probably said this before
But I was in Okehampton once on a very hot day. Sitting outside drinking real cider.

I had three pints and wondered why all the west country boys raved about cider.

Stood up to go for a slash and fell flat on my face.

There used to be a really good bar in Glasgow that did a fantastic drink called a Timebomb
which had that exact same effect.

This has also happened to me.

But I bet you weren't staggering around a beer garden with your cock out.

(, Wed 28 Mar 2012, 22:24, Reply)
Erm, most certainly not, no.

(, Wed 28 Mar 2012, 22:27, Reply)
Not, in retrospect, my finest hour.

The cider boat has about 40 different ciders on there usually.

(, Wed 28 Mar 2012, 22:08, Reply)
But that's the best kind!

Urrugh,
You like sweet cider. You'll have to sit in benders corner.
(, Wed 28 Mar 2012, 22:09, Reply)
Quenders corner more like.

All cider is good cider
This is the 21st century, shouldn't be discriminatory against different drinks :)
(, Wed 28 Mar 2012, 22:13, Reply)
Some dry cider is nice
I will drink halves and sample...if not lots, at least some of them.
(, Wed 28 Mar 2012, 22:17, Reply)
I'll probably be on non-cider drinks for a lot of it as well.

(, Wed 28 Mar 2012, 22:18, Reply)
Alcoholic or not?
I'll be in Bristol from lunchtime-ish, probably, and I have no intention of making a drunken tit of myself.
(, Wed 28 Mar 2012, 22:24, Reply)
Are there plans for a lunch somewhere?
There are some nice eateries in the middle of Brizzle.

I don't want to do drinking on an empty stomach all afternoon and evening. I have a stupidly low tolerance for alcohol, and will probably do something stupid.
(, Wed 28 Mar 2012, 22:36, Reply)
I shall probably have me a lovely wander round
and get a pie from pieminister, although I am more than happy to discuss more formal lunching plans, and I shall be having something relatively substantial for exactly the same reason as you.
