What is true for you may not be true for me. The question was "What would you say was your favourite age so far? (my emphasis) not "What would you say was Monty's favourite age so far?".

I am happier than I have ever been and I expect good things of the future. Frankly if I thought my best years were behind me I'd be very depressed, but each to his own.
