Out of interest Gonz.
What makes the Nexus tablet better than the others, say the Samsung.

It's got the latest version of Android, but more importantly, it'll have the next one...
... which will finally introduce the fix to the lagging problems that Android is plagued with (eg, it'll be all smooth animations and tweens, like on the iPad... it's called 'Project Butter'). It's the only tablet currently on the market that'll have this, I think. Not 100% sure behind that, but this "Project Butter" fixes my biggest bugbare with android.

If you ain't worried about waiting, if the "iPad Mini" comes out next month, that'll be similar price and pretty amazing.

Too much choice.
But I'm quite tempted by them.

I think they're well useful.
I do all my book and magazine reading on my one.

Is yours on a contract or do you just pick up WiFi connections?

Wifi, but I can use my iPhone as a connection if I want.
I think most phones have that feature, it's called Tethering.

I can't see the point of the 3G version when it's £100 more expensive, and you can get a "Mifi" (a little hotspot in your pocket) for £50; which will also get other devices online such as a laptop or DS/Vita or whatever.

Answer is
Quad Core Processor
Gig of RAM
and A 12 core Nvidia graphics chip.

I have mine running a playstation and an n64 emulator perfectly smooth. It does all my media streaming, remote controls all the compuers in the house, handles all my email, has amazing voice recognition, It has a great kindle app, I can read all my comics on it, I can now attach my usb memory keys to it, HD screen, movies look and play great, fantastic third party app support, I have a great sat nav on it, multiple browsers with flash support and it fits in my pocket yet is big enough to use for everything. Way better than any iPad I have ever used at an amazing price.
