what you have to do is figure out your hair type and face shape
then look for styles that will suit it. You can only work with what you've got.

For example, my hair is fine and curly, and my face is square. A google search for suitable hairstyles brings up lots of Meg ryan and Charlize Theron.

Find a good local salon and go for a consultation. If they're very good, they won't charge you.

Thank you, Vidal.

Seems like she's fucked off now, anyway.
So, how are you? Can I do anything for you, Jeff?

I'm good thanks b3th.
You could tell me how the job hunt in going.

meh

And if you have a stupid hair type like mine
there is next to bugger all you can do with it.
(, Wed 22 Aug 2012, 23:17, Reply)
Not true.
Your hair is thick and curly. Keep it shorter with layers, and you'll be fine.
(, Wed 22 Aug 2012, 23:19, Reply)
Yes but you can't really have an interesting style
you can have 'short and curly' or 'long and curly'. Or 'really short and poofy'. I have experimented with all of these.
(, Wed 22 Aug 2012, 23:22, Reply)
What sort of 'interesting' do you want?
A mohican?
(, Wed 22 Aug 2012, 23:24, Reply)
I meant more that I can't see something in a magazine
take it to the salon and go 'Yeah, I want something like that'...because it'll just be curly. Shorter, or longer, still curly.

I don't think I'd look good with a mo.
(, Wed 22 Aug 2012, 23:29, Reply)
But you have a lovely shaped face
so you could carry off lots of different styles.

*lezzes up*

Aww, cheers.

People with curly hair always seem to wish that they had straight hair
Whereas those with straight hair long for curls.
The fact is no one else notices or cares about your hair as much as you do.

I like my hair
it's just not very adaptable.
(, Wed 22 Aug 2012, 23:29, Reply)
So don't adapt it.

(, Wed 22 Aug 2012, 23:31, Reply)
I have a low boredom threshold.

You're just looking for problems now.
Take up another instrument or something.
Focus on something interesting that you can change, rather than your hair.

I don't have the room!
well, maybe for a recorder or something. But who wants to play the recorder?
(, Wed 22 Aug 2012, 23:40, Reply)
Maybe not a soprano recorder, but bass recorders are well cool.
Not cheap, mind.
(, Wed 22 Aug 2012, 23:44, Reply)
When I was in my twenties I used to worry about what my hair looked like.
Then I realised that was stupid.
Once I stopped caring about what it looked like, it started to look alright.

A contender for the gayest thing I have ever posted.

I can't really argue with this, seeing as I appear to have waded into a discussion about hair with girls.

Hey Jeff
What about that football, eh?
(, Wed 22 Aug 2012, 23:29, Reply)
Hey Tangles.
Sorry. Got distracted.
