a good rebuttel of this is Jackson Pollack's work, which is regarded by many to be "random paint chucked at a canvas"
however, although the painting looks random they adhere to a very precise mathematical formula that is based in nature. This is why it is so pleasing to the eye, we recognise the patterns in the chaos without even knowing.
