it's Heinlienand proper I LOVE THE MILITARY IT SHOULD RUN SOCIETY kind of thing. Militaristic golden age sci fi. Ignore the politics and it's quite good in a nostalgic way (if you spent ages of your childhood reading golden age sci fi)
