27 Dresses.
Fucking hell.

Never watched it again. Changed my circle of friends.

(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:30, Reply)
Do you mean philistine?
Because I'm pretty sure you're not any sort of country, even one that only exists in the minds of a bunch of ragheads.
(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:31, Reply)
Nope palastine

(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:32, Reply)
OK, soz. Just making sure.
If it's any help, you don't look like Palastine, either.
(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:34, Reply)
One of my former neighbours is a pro-Palestine jew.
I think he's in a small minority.
(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:35, Reply)
I would guess so

Edit: actually what you need to do is find a Zionist Palestinian just to complete the set
(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:35, Reply)
I fail to see how writing in dialect is poncey.
Everything's a dialect, including RP.
(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:37, Reply)
Nah.
The OED disagrees.

Scottish doesn't exist - it's a collective dream by silly nationalists.

(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:47, Reply)
It was annoyingly hard to read due to the Scotch and also a fucking shite story
I stopped after about 50 pages and gave up. First and only time I've done that
(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:49, Reply)
He is a fucking prick and no doubt

(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:36, Reply)
One or two of his books worked better as films than books, such as Misery.

(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:40, Reply)
Misery was pretty good.

(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:45, Reply)

The Road
I hated the book, then for some reason I watched 15 long minutes of the film. Tedium.

Starship Troopers 2, the first one is the most perfect of all films, the 2nd is clearly done by someone who just didn't get what the first one was about
(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:45, Reply)
It doesn't matter how long Starship Troopers has been on
I will always watch it to the end. I love that film.
(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:47, Reply)
i just read the book
it made me love the film even more
(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:48, Reply)
I didn't realise there was a book.
I will Amazon it.
(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:49, Reply)
it's Heinlien
and proper I LOVE THE MILITARY IT SHOULD RUN SOCIETY kind of thing. Militaristic golden age sci fi. Ignore the politics and it's quite good in a nostalgic way (if you spent ages of your childhood reading golden age sci fi)
(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:53, Reply)
I read it donkeys ago
I seem to recall most of the book being in classrooms
(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 17:06, Reply)
classrooms and bootcamp

^^This

(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:49, Reply)
Liked the book, haven't seen the film.

(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:47, Reply)
which one, starship troopers?
the politics made me angry despite loving that kind of sci fi, so the film is the perfect response.

If you mean The Road IT'S SHIT
(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:48, Reply)
The Road.

(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:50, Reply)

Clearly you have never seen the third one.
It has singing. That's all I'm going to say here.
(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 18:16, Reply)
Season of the Witch was particularly dreadful.
Who keeps giving Nicholas Cage roles?
(, Mon 24 Mar 2014, 16:50, Reply)

I once drunkenly bought a £3 DVD called American Ninja
I binned the DVD about 20 minutes in, fucking awful.

Although, I did recently pay to see Great Gatsby (no pick & mix, before you say anything) and was very tempted to walk out, it was that bad.
