Just go down the pub on your own, sit in the corner, try and make stilted conversation with strangers, play the fruit machine, glare awkwardly at people having 'fun'...All the cool people are doing it.

Local is actually pretty good for meeting new people at the weekend, it just tends to be pretty dead midweek.Fucking great pints, mind.
