Apparently soWent to A&E this morning for my purple foot. Lady doctor says it's just gravity has pulled the bruise from my banged shin down to the bottom of my leg and it will go away in a few weeks to a month.
So I'm not going to need an amputation, fortunately.

Yer.My BiL got slapped about in a nightclub once, and ended up with a massive bruise on his cheek. It drifted slowly down his face and onto his neck before it faded.
