Breaking news.
Turns out, if you don't drink on a Saturday night you can wake up hangover free on a Sunday morning.

I too have woken hangoverless, even had a better night's sleep
Not sure I like this alien feeling of morning wellness. However, there may well be a large roast accompanied by a couple of glasses of wine later on. We'll see how that turns out.

Can you tell the difference between a hangover headache and getting the encyclopedia Britannia wrapped over your noggin?

Sounds a bit risky, don't think I'll try it.

(, Sun 27 Apr 2014, 12:59, Reply)
Give it a go, honestly - it shouldn't be underestimated.
I've been out for lunch, I'm now watching the football and I'll go to the pub later.

I can't imagine any of this would have happened if I was on the sauce last night. Well, I'd have watched the football obviously. And I'd have gone out for lunch as I'd have been too hungover to cook, and I always go to the pub on a Sunday. But that aside, sobriety is the new drunk.
(, Sun 27 Apr 2014, 15:07, Reply)
Well maybe, but I remain dubious as I like to be drunk at least once a day.

(, Sun 27 Apr 2014, 17:30, Reply)
Been to the pub, the locals seemed to be ejoying the kickball
I didn't drink too much and I will be alcohol free this evening due to an early start in the morning.
More news as it happens

Got a bottle of Asda's own Speyside the other day on a recommendation, pretty good stuff at £20.50 a bottle.

(, Sun 27 Apr 2014, 20:54, Reply)
any idea what it is?

(, Sun 27 Apr 2014, 20:55, Reply)
Not sure, it's oak aged and quite dark for a Speyside
the Internet suggests Glenlivet but that looks lighter to me. tbh I'm not that bothered as it's nice and not expensive.
