Young lad at his grandparents house
Lad says "Granddad, granddad you was in the was in the war"
Granddad replies" Yes lad"
Lad says"Did you get any medals?"
Granddad replies" Yes lad there in the draw,next to my bed go and get them"
Lad puts on the medals and marches round the room "Grandad this is bloody great"
Granddad replies"Look I don't care what kinda language you use at home but I won't have that here under my roof"
Lad says sorry
Lad says "Granddad, granddad you was in the was in the war"
Granddad replies" Yes lad"
Lad says"Did you keep your helmet"
Granddad replies" Yes lad its in the wardrobe in my bedroom"
Lad puts on the helmet pushes out his chest with the medals and marches round the room "Grandad this is bloody great"
