Some of you may recall me bumming my mates band a while back. they were called shrine
they are now called black peaks, and despite being described as jeff buckley meets tool meets mastodon by Zane lowe still managed to get aired on fern cottons show in the day on radio 1. It's pretty heavy to be fair so I was quite surprised.

they are booked in for a shit load of festivals this summer so look out for them
I'm totaly biased, but they are worth a watch as they are good live
