This is a question Overcoming adversity

The Doveston asks: Have you ever fought back from a terrible illness? Got out of a job that was going nowhere? Secured a great victory against the odds through dishonesty and cheating? Warm our hearts, B3ta

getting signed off again, I reckon.
but if I can get my head together I might do some care work or volunteer somewhere. or, I might sit in the dark crying for the whole of the summer. we shall see.

Good to have a positive plan.
The crying thing sounds like a bit of a waste of time TBH.

fair point, dr toucan. am seeing a psychologist on Friday to see how to best deal with my own particular brand of mental.

Watch out for ATOS
I managed to get to the appointment: ergo I was fit for work. I didn't even start looking for another year, that's how well I was.

Happier times now.

Hang in there.

I am terrified of ATOS but I have enough points on physical health without my mentalness.
dreading the medical but hey, I've worked and paid my stamp for 20 years....

So, just to clarify.
ATOS = bad
ALOT = better

?

Oh don't get me wrong, they tried to...
I was on antidepressants and they kept trying to get me to goto counselling, i'd say a few steps away from the white jacket
and thank you

I did a month inpatient and if I hadn't been so horribly ill it would have been hilarious.
am going back on Sunday for the 'Xmas party' - I hope special Jane doesn't lick all the mince pies and throw them over the fence like at Halloween with the biscuits :(

Don't be afraid to do things you love
You can be whatever you want to be
You can do anything
Things maybe looking down, but life is like a see saw... enjoy the ride

Patronisers are fucking patronising
It's a sure fire method of spotting "the normal people".

Edit: Sorry SKug - didn't realise you were being tongue in cheek!
(, Mon 17 Dec 2012, 17:48, closed)
no worries
there are little things that stick in your head... they may sound patronising but sometimes they stick and yeah you know?
